Bethany Lord, Woodsboro Bank Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources and Culture Officer, was recognized by the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce at the SHERO Awards as the recipient of the STRENGTH Award.
SHERO Awards are part of FCCC’s S.H.E Week, a multi-day experience where Frederick County women come together to enrich, inspire, celebrate, and, as the theme of this years’ event states, “Shine”.
Bethany was nominated by her colleagues for her great strength and continuously overcoming any obstacle in her way. Her colleagues stated in their nomination that “Bethany truly exemplifies the definition of the word strength. She has surmounted more odds and cheerfully worn more hats than any person we have known, and always does so with kindness and positivity.”
Bethany is a leader and advocate in the financial industry and our community. She sits on the Board of the Maryland Bankers Association Council of Professional Women in Banking and Finance, Past-President of the Frederick County SHRM Board of Directors, Past-President of the Spring Ridge Elementary PTA, a member of Key City Rotary, and former mentor in the Women-to-Women mentoring program.
Please join us in celebrating Bethany and her amazing accomplishment!
